My stay at the hotel was fantastic overall. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, but there was some noise in the morning that disrupted my sleep. The historic stone buildings and beautiful grounds added a wow factor to the experience, but the cleanliness was not perfect, especially in the bathroom. The lack of room service was a downside as well.

Rooms

The rooms were spacious and well-equipped with all facilities, but cleanliness, especially in the bathroom, was below expectations. The noise in the morning was a bit disturbing.
Service

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, although there seemed to be some disorganization in the Orangery for breakfast service. I had a warm welcome at my table upon arrival.

The location was absolutely gorgeous, particularly for a stroll through the grounds. Nigel, the barman, and Wjotek at reception were standout staff members.

The hotel was a mixed bag with comfortable rooms but in need of some repairs. The service was exceptional, especially from Nigel and Wjotek. The location was perfect for relaxation and dining. However, the dining experience lacked passion. Overall, a pleasant stay with some room for improvement.

8.2/10

My stay at the hotel was incredible. The rooms were gorgeous and very spacious, with a separate walk-in wardrobe area and a large bathroom featuring a free-standing bath and a large open shower. The view from my bedroom window was lovely, although our room wasn't ready until 4 pm.

Rooms
9.0
The rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed.
Service
8.0
The service was exceptional throughout my stay. Nigel, the barman, and Wjotek at reception were incredibly helpful and attentive. However, there was a slight issue with payment procedures that required paying with cash or credit card directly rather than signing to the room.
Location
9.0
The location of the hotel is truly outstanding. It is beautifully decorated and full of character, just a hop away from Dublin. The historical setting with its restored buildings adds to the charm of the place, although the reception area in an old greenhouse was a unique touch.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was mostly delightful, with the best hotel breakfast but some small hiccups like having to ask twice for toast and the breakfast finishing slightly earlier than expected. I wished for a bit more variety in the menu with cereals, fruits, and yogurts.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel offers a range of facilities to ensure a comfortable stay, including dry cleaning, housekeeping, and shops/services. However, the absence of some minor amenities like a wider breakfast selection was noticeable.
